About FLYT
FLYT is a science-informed, soul-centered nervous-system regulation experience. It uses a layered sensory method called Bio-tuning — which orchestrates vibroacoustic therapy, near-infrared light, pulsed light, sound, breath, stillness, and intention — to help the body recognize safety, shift state, and restore coherence.
FLYT is not a treatment, a therapy, or a medical intervention. It is a wellness experience designed to support the body's natural capacity for regulation and recovery. The core premise of FLYT is that the goal is not to escape life, but to build the capacity to meet it more fully.
Bio-tuning is FLYT's proprietary layered sensory method — a precisely sequenced, multi-sensory approach to nervous-system regulation that integrates vibroacoustic therapy, near-infrared light, pulsed light, sound, breath, and intention into a single coherent experience.
The core insight behind Bio-tuning is that the nervous system responds most powerfully not to isolated inputs, but to a coherent, multi-sensory environment that simultaneously and consistently signals safety and restoration. When multiple sensory channels work together in this way, the regulatory response is more complete and more durable than any single modality can produce.
Bio-tuning is also adaptive — your practitioner reads your state throughout the session and adjusts the protocol accordingly.
No. FLYT is a wellness experience and is not medical care. FLYT does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
FLYT is designed to support the body's natural capacity for regulation and recovery. It is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or any other professional healthcare service.
If you have a medical condition, are taking medication, or have any health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before booking a FLYT session.
FLYT is distinct from massage, float tanks, and other wellness modalities in several important ways.
Unlike massage, FLYT does not involve physical manipulation of the body. Unlike float tanks, FLYT is not about sensory deprivation — it is about a precisely calibrated multi-sensory environment.
What makes FLYT unique is the integration: the orchestration of vibroacoustic therapy, near-infrared light, pulsed light, sound, breath, and intention into a single coherent experience designed specifically to support nervous-system regulation. Each element is chosen and sequenced to build on the one before it, creating a cumulative effect that is greater than the sum of its parts.
The Modalities
Vibroacoustic therapy uses low-frequency sound vibration delivered through a surface in contact with the body. Rather than simply hearing sound, you feel it — a gentle, pervasive vibration that moves through tissue, bone, and fluid.
Most people describe it as deeply settling. Some describe it as similar to the feeling of being held, or of floating. Others describe a quality of body awareness — a sense of being more present in the body than usual.
The vibration is gentle and non-invasive. It is not uncomfortable. Many people find that the body begins to settle within the first few minutes of the vibroacoustic component of the session.
Near-infrared light occupies the spectrum just beyond visible red light, typically in the range of 700–1100 nanometers. Unlike visible light, NIR wavelengths penetrate the skin and underlying tissue, where they interact with cellular structures.
The field of photobiomodulation — the study of how light at specific wavelengths affects biological processes — has produced research suggesting that NIR light may support cellular energy production, circulation, and various restorative processes.
In FLYT, NIR light is used as one layer of the Bio-tuning protocol — not as a standalone treatment, but as part of an integrated sensory environment designed to support the body's natural restorative processes. FLYT does not make medical claims about NIR light. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider with any medical questions.
Pulsed light refers to light delivered in rhythmic on/off cycles at specific frequencies. Unlike continuous light, pulsed light provides a rhythmic sensory signal — a pattern that the nervous system can detect and potentially respond to.
In FLYT, pulsed light is used as a gentle rhythmic cue — a signal to the nervous system that it is safe to settle, to slow, to shift toward restoration. It is applied at frequencies chosen to support relaxation and state-shifting.
The research on pulsed light in wellness contexts is still developing. FLYT uses pulsed light with appropriate caution, as one element of an integrated protocol.
Sessions & Experience
A FLYT session moves through six phases:
1. Arrive — You enter a space designed for your nervous system: quiet, warm, unhurried.
2. Orient — A brief consultation helps your practitioner understand where you are and what you need.
3. Settle — You are guided into the session environment. The body begins to recognize safety before the formal protocol begins.
4. Receive — Bio-tuning begins. Vibration, light, sound, breath, and intention work in concert. The session moves through distinct phases — from gentle activation of the sensory system, through deep settling, to a quality of coherence and restoration.
5. Integrate — Quiet time for the body to process and consolidate the shift.
6. Return — You leave more resourced, more present, more yourself. Your practitioner may offer brief aftercare guidance.
You remain fully clothed throughout the session.
This varies significantly between individuals and depends on your current state, your goals, and how your nervous system responds to the work.
Many people notice meaningful shifts after a single session. For those with significant or long-standing dysregulation, a series of sessions is often more effective than a single session — the nervous system learns through repetition, and each session builds on the one before.
Your practitioner will make recommendations based on your individual situation after your first session. There is no fixed protocol — FLYT is responsive to what you need.
A few practical suggestions:
— Wear comfortable, loose clothing. You remain fully clothed throughout. — Arrive a few minutes early. The transition from the outside world is part of the session. — Avoid heavy meals in the 1–2 hours before your session. — If possible, reduce caffeine intake on the day of your session. — Come as you are. No particular state, intention, or preparation is required.
The session meets you where you are.
Aftercare is an important part of the FLYT experience:
— Hydrate well in the hours following your session. — Allow for rest if possible. Avoid scheduling demanding activities immediately after. — Notice what shifts in the days following — sleep quality, mood, energy, clarity. — Be gentle with yourself. Some people experience a period of emotional processing in the days following a session. This is a normal part of integration. — Reach out to your practitioner if you have questions or need support.
The session continues working after you leave.
Safety & Suitability
We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare provider before booking a FLYT session if you:
— Have a diagnosed medical condition, particularly cardiovascular, neurological, or psychiatric conditions — Are pregnant or may be pregnant — Have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device — Are taking prescription medication — Have a history of seizures or photosensitivity — Have recently had surgery or are recovering from injury or illness — Have any concerns about whether FLYT is appropriate for your situation
This list is not exhaustive. When in doubt, please consult your healthcare provider. FLYT is a wellness experience and is not a substitute for medical care.
FLYT is designed for adults who are in generally good health and are seeking support for nervous-system regulation and recovery. It is not designed for or marketed to children.
FLYT is not suitable as a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, or any other professional healthcare service. If you have a medical condition or health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare provider before booking.
If you have any questions about whether FLYT is appropriate for your situation, please contact us before booking. We are happy to discuss your individual circumstances.
Falling asleep during a FLYT session is common and is not a problem. The session continues to work regardless of your level of conscious awareness — the body is receiving the sensory input whether you are awake or asleep.
Many people who fall asleep during a session report that the quality of that sleep is different from ordinary sleep — deeper, more restorative, more complete. This is consistent with the session's purpose.
Emotional responses during and after FLYT sessions are not uncommon. When the nervous system settles and the body releases held tension, emotions that have been suppressed or held at bay may surface.
This is a normal part of the regulatory process — not a sign that something has gone wrong. Your practitioner is trained to support you through any emotional responses that arise during the session.
In the days following a session, some people experience a period of emotional processing. This is also normal and typically resolves within 24–48 hours. If you have concerns, please reach out to your practitioner.
